My name is Danka Fiedor and I work with individuals and couples to help them uncover the tools and strategies that can allow them to more confidently navigate their mental health challenges.
I use a holistic approach that seeks to understand my clients as a whole, rather than focusing on an isolated event or problem which can leave the broader issues unresolved. I know that caring for our mental health is a crucial part of a healthy lifestyle and encourage the perception of therapy as a normal part of good self-care.
As a psychologist, I offer a personalised and adaptive approach to therapy, tailoring my expertise to meet your unique needs and goals. My therapeutic framework integrates: psychodynamic principles to explore underlying thoughts, feelings, and experiences, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to address trauma and anxiety. I’m EMDRAA Accredited Practitioner, evidence-based practices as an ANZAED (Australia and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders) certified clinician.
This integrative approach allows me to address complex emotional and psychological issues, foster self-awareness, resilience, and growth, support recovery from trauma, anxiety, and eating disorders.
Together, we’ll collaborate to create a safe, non-judgmental space for exploration, healing, and transformation.
