Why You Feel Exhausted Even When Life Looks Fine

A 90-minute online workshop for people who feel tired, wired, overwhelmed or unable to switch off.

You may look like you are coping on the outside, while inside you feel exhausted, tense, emotionally overloaded or unable to properly rest.

This live online workshop is designed to help you understand how chronic stress can affect the nervous system, why rest does not always feel restorative, and how small, repeated practices can support more flexibility, steadiness and choice.

This workshop may be helpful if you:

  • look like you are coping, but feel exhausted inside
  • feel tired and wired at the same time
  • find it difficult to slow down, switch off or properly rest
  • often feel anxious, irritable, overloaded or flat
  • keep pushing through, even when your body is asking for a pause
  • rest, but do not feel genuinely restored
  • feel guilty when you are not being productive
  • want practical tools that fit into a busy life

You do not need a mental health diagnosis, or to be in therapy, to attend.

What you will learn

During the workshop, we will explore:

  • how chronic stress can gradually affect the way you feel and function
  • how nervous system overload may show up in everyday life
  • why high-functioning people can miss the signs of depletion
  • why rest alone may not always resolve ongoing exhaustion
  • how repeated stress can affect energy, emotions and the ability to switch off
  • how small, manageable practices may support greater awareness and flexibility

You will also be introduced to:

NES: Notice – Exhale – Soften: a simple practice for noticing what is happening in your body, letting the out-breath lengthen slightly, and softening unnecessary tension, without pressuring yourself to feel calm.

Little Pockets of Regulation: brief, repeatable moments of awareness that fit into everyday life, without becoming another task to complete perfectly.
